2019 concerts

The theme for our spring 2019 Cheltenham series is The Grand Tour. This will include a performance on 18 May of Romain BornesPicric Acid, the winning work in our Young Composers’ Competition 2018. And our 50th anniversary concert in June 2019 in Cheltenham Town Hall will feature the Mozart piano concerto that was played by our founder Douglas Smith at our first concert in 1969.

We are an ensemble of committed and experienced amateur, student and professional musicians, playing under the expert guidance of conductor David Curtis. We play a huge variety of classical pieces throughout the year in various venues in and around Gloucestershire.
